This project consists of three wood frame residence buildings which are three levels complete with basement. Total floor area is 99 964 ft2 and will house eighty-two units and associated lobbies and leisure areas. The building envelope includes brick veneer, cement panel cladding and asphalt shingle roofing. The heating & cooling energy source is from a state of the art geothermal system located beneath the parking and landscaping areas. We are drilling twenty four individual wells which are 180m deep. The consultant team has elected to centralize the geothermal heating & cooling plant thus increasing the efficiency. This will provide the Residence St-Louis with the most eco-friendly residence in the Nation's Capital region. |
